Exercise
Exercises for balance: -
- As you get older, it is so important to get better balance & prevent falls .These exercises done regularly will help you to get better balance.
- Stand on one leg for 10seconds & repeat on the other leg
- While on one leg bend forward & pick up a small object from the floor. Repeat on the other leg
- Draw a straight 10 meter line, & walk on it, one foot after the other.
- While standing on one leg, raise the other leg sideways. Repeat with the other leg.
- While standing on the leg lift the other leg slightly in front & balance for 10 seconds, repeat with the other leg.

- For years now it has been established that second hand cigarette smoke ingested by children, increases their asthma, breathing problem, ear infection &sudden death. Added to this, second hand marijuana smoke affects the brain, memory & IQ. With this in mind.
- Never smoke in the presence of your child
- Never smoke in locations that your child visits, i.e. the car, or home, since smoke lingers.
- In case you smoke, prior to meeting your child, have a complete bath & change your clothes.
Medical
Risk Factor in HBP:
- Reading above 140/90.
- Persons above 45 years.
- Family history of HBP.
- Certain races including African and Asian
- A daily intake of more than 1 teaspoon salt.
- Stress
- Being overweight
- Daily alcohol
- Never have more than 4 cups of coffee.
- Pregnancy puts you at risk of HBP.
